What to do When a Local Web Developer Takes Credit for Your Work →
If you’ve been involved in WordPress community for even a small amount of time, you’ve probably noticed the huge role sharing plays. Sharing knowledge, resources, and even passing clients along to friends from WordCamp are such common occurrences it’s easy to forget they’re what makes WordPress unique. But what do you do when you find yourself “sharing” more than you intended. In this recent post, WordPress developer Raymmar Tirado finds a local developer taking credit for his work. While Tirado is obviously upset, he brings up an interesting point about finding our value as developers, and will make you think more carefully about how you might take credit for your work on a project that was started by someone else.
